Samsung Galaxy S8 vs iPhone 7: Samsung Galaxy S8 Knocking Out Apple's A10 Chip? [VIDEO]
ByEvery year, Apple Inc. turns up with faster and more efficient processors for its iPhones and iPads. The A10 Fusion chip in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is probably the best processor around the world right now for smartphones.
As recent tests have shown, the A10 Fusion chip knocks out the competition in benchmarks, which includes the brand new Google Pixel and Samsung's Galaxy Note 7. And the chip offers a faster overall performance in real life tests.
But, every other smartphone manufacturer upgrades the silicon in its gadgets each year as well, with flagship phones getting the best among them all. There's already one smartphone that significantly surpasses the iPhone 7 in AnTuTu tests. Rumor has it that it might be next year's Galaxy S8, or is it an early test for the next-gen iPad Pros, based on the report of BGR.
When Twitter user @Ricciolo1 posted a teaser on his account that a device will launch at an indefinite time in the first quarter of 2017 has shattered the 200K barrier in AnTuTu. The prototype device scored 203737, which hammers down the iPhone 7 by quite a large margin.
Reports then spring up one after the other that it might be the Galaxy S8, as Samsung is rumored to be working on faster processors for the company's first 2017 flagship. Also, the Galaxy S8 is slated to debut in the first quarter of the year. Anyway, Samsung is said to ditch off the old school headphone hole in favor of pushing a person's audio through the same USB-C connection used to charge the phone, according to WCCF Tech.
Nevertheless, Samsung Galaxy S8 has already been tipped to pack a stunning 4K screen, as well as a sizeable processor upgrade and new camera, Digital Spy reported. Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to come along with 9.0 megapixels front camera and 30 megapixels rear camera, 6 gigabyte of RAM, 64 and 128 gigabyte of internal memory.
