With its supposed release date inching closer, Apple's next iPhone(s) are still leaking rumors and photos from various sources, including a faster A7 processing chip, a fourth color, a trade-in program and possible visual confirmation of a low-cost plastic iPhone.

First, Fox News anchor Clayton Morris tweeted Sunday that sources told him the next iPhone will have an A7 processor chip that will be 31 percent faster than the current A6 chip found in the current iPhone models. Apple is also rumored to be exploring a 64-bit processor in their iPhone 5S prototypes.

9to5 Mac said a jump from 32-bit to 64-bit would help the A7 chip run animations, transparencies and other iOS 7 functions.

Apple has not confirmed its release date, but according to various sources, the tech giant will release a high-end iPhone 5S and a low-end iPhone 5C on Sept. 10.

Engadget reported Saturday a French blogger who posted a photo of a pool of iPhone 5Cs and claimed it came straight out of the Pegatron factory.

"After digging around the original poster's Sina Weibo profile, we deduced that this spy shot came straight out of Pegatron's Shanghai plant, which matches what we've read in the recent China Labor Watch report on Apple," Engadget's report read.

The image appears to depict a warm-up for dozens of iPhone 5Cs to test whether or not the work properly before shipping them out.

Another leaked photo set, from Apple insider Sonny Dickson, presumably shows the iPhone 5S in a graphite color. According to PC Magazine, several news outlets reported Apple will release a gold iPhone to go along with the regular black and white models. The rumored graphite iPhone would be the fourth color customers could choose from.

Lastly, at least for now, Mac Rumors reported Monday that many Apple retail stores are gearing up for a trade-in program allowing users to bring in their old iPhones for credit towards a new model.

Employees are reportedly being trained on how to handle the trade-ins and various stores have also received the necessary materials.

Apple has not confirmed anything as of yet. AllThingsD, citing an unnamed source close to the matter, originally reported the Sept. 10 release date. However, it has apparently been a leaky summer for Apple, with various details spilling all over the Internet.
