Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto phones rolled out soon!
Moto phone users will soon be able to taste the functionality of Nougat after the company confirms the update scheduled to roll out in Q4.
There will be 15 Moto smartphones recieving the update as listed below. The company released the news in the website, confirming the smartphones list which will get the newest Android OS update starting with the fourth generation of Moto Z and Moto G.
Motorola spokesperson has spoken to confirm the Nougat updates to Droid-Life. The report goes on to say that Motorola will further inform the specific timeframe of each Moto handset.

The last year's devices such as Moto X Pure and X Play have also made it in the list to get the upgrades. However, handsets like Moto E3 Power will not receive it.
Android Nougat was introduced in March and being rolled out to the selected Nexus devices after its official release. The updates will ensure that the phone's performance remains the best. The newest Android version also brings better file encryption to fight against threats, direct booting for direct access to notifications.
