Jailbreak fans are getting anxious while waiting for the release of iOS 10 jailbreak by Pangu. This news should shed some light why the hacker delays the release.

iOS 10.0.2 update has been rolled out and there is no sign of Pangu to break the restriction

It's almost been a month since Apple released iPhone 7 and rolled out iOS 10 for public. In fact, the update is now reaching to iOS 10.0.2 version and we have not seen any legitimate jailbreaking tool for iOS 10 available to download.

It also contradicts the previous Pangu jailbreak timeframe where the Chinese hacking team always released a jailbreak tool in less than a month after iOS major update rolled out.

Many speculations hint at the delay of iOS 10 jailbreak Pangu is due to many reasons. First, Apple always patches the hole made by any jailbreaker by releasing iOS update. Remember when the iOS 9.3.4 update was rolled out just two weeks after iOS 9.3.2 was released?

There are some important security updates that make the jailbreak not working properly, as reported by Enstarz. This means that Pangu could be waiting for a more 'stable' iOS before releasing any jailbreak.

iOS 10 jailbreak Pangu could be waiting for iOS 10.1 update from Apple

Previously, University Herald gathered all the rants surrounding the iOS 10 jailbreak and found that Pangu is rumored to save the jailbreaking tool until Apple rolls out iOS 10.1. And just like Jay Freeman has said about public jailbreak - a hacker might wait for the OS update to arrive before releasing the exploit.

Pangu might have been aware of the recent problem in iOS 10 security as Russian firm, Elcomsoft, published the vulnerability in iOS 10 backup system and claimed that it could be hacked 2,500 faster. It would make sense that Apple is going through the problem as of the moment and planning to roll another patch - iOS 10.0.3.

With Apple tightens up the security layer in iOS 10, the most-awaited update would be until the tech giant rolls out iOS 10.1 that fixes major issues instead of minor firmware updates and bug fixes like the one in iOS 10.0.2.
