It's going to be one magical week for Potter fans out there as Warner Bros. and IMAX announced that there's going to be a marathon showing of all eight "Harry Potter" films.

The news was announced through Twitter while the event was also announced on IMAX's official page that includes details on where fans can buy their tickets.

The event also includes an exclusive sneak preview of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," which is set to hit theaters in November.

According to CinemaBlend, the event was organized in support of author J.K. Rowling. This is also the first time where some of the Harry Potter movies are going to be shown in IMAX that includes "The Sorcerer's Stone" and "The Chamber of Secrets."

Meanwhile, the plot for the movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" happened seventy years before the characters in Harry Potter - Hermione, Ron and Harry - even existed. The movie is set in New York and it features unique creatures.

The trailer for the film reveals magic different from Harry Potter, but somehow, there's element that's going to take us back to Potter films. For example, in America, non-magical beings are known as "nomad" but its main character Newt Scamander quickly refers to non-magical beings as "muggle." Fans of the Harry Potter franchise are very familiar with the term.

If the movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" have other references to the Harry Potter films, it make sense why they want to fans to binge on Harry Potter films.
