"The LEGO Ninjago Movie" will now include Jackie Chan in its cast as Master Wu. In the most recent video that has been released as a sneak peak, Master Wu is seen fighting with something you wouldn't expect: a chicken.
In the clip that has been shared by USA Today, audiences who are patiently waiting for the release of the film is treated with a first glance of Jackie Chan's Master Wu in a battle. The short video was part of the feature entitled: "The Master: A Lego Ninjago Short", which has been released earlier that the film's scheduled launching on September next year.
The sidesplitting clip features Master Wu fighting with a chicken on bizarre settings: rooftops and courtyards. The chicken seems to be a nemesis and a daunting opponent of Master Wu, as he brawls to defeat it. After the scene, the courtyards and rooftops are left in total destruction and everything is undeniably ruined. Ross Evans and Director Jon Saunders both wrote together the 'Master' short.
The video is an evidence of the legendary martial art skills of Master Wu. Chan's sensei leads a team of young ninjas consists of Lloyd played by Dave Franco, Kal played by Michael Pena, Kumali Nanjiani as Jay, Fred Armisen as Cole, Zach Woods as Zane and Abbi Jacobson as Nya. The villain named Lord Garmadon is played by Justin Theroux and Koko is played by Olivia Munn, Econotimes reported.
The film is directed by Charlie Bean and its co-director is Bob Logan and Paul Fisher. The screenplay is written by Dan Hageman, Kevin Chesley, Kevin Hageman and Bryan Shukoff. The move is based on Lego's toys called Ninjago that has been available since 2011.
'The LEGO Ninjago Movie' will hit the screens on 3D at the 22nd of September next year.
