While Marvel Cinematic Universe is extremely famous for their films and movies which constantly tops the blockbuster list, their new venture on television seems to be a success as well. Last year, Marvel debutes the series for the blind hero of Hell's Kitchen, "Daredevil". This year, "Luke Cage" would set his foot on Netflix.

Aside from the billion-dollar movies that Marvel has been producing, their Netflix series have also been successful.Marvel launched two series last year: "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones". This year's spinoff would be "Luke Cage". Cage is a gruff bartender who is played by Mike Colter. Previously, he was linked to Jessica Jones. Cage is a superhuman with bulletproof skin and superstrength as superpowers. Following the release of the Netflix trailer of "Luke Cage", the fans become more hyped. Additionally, early reviews for the series were positive which give fans more reason to be hyped, Screen Rant reported.

Critics called "Luke Cage" the "best Marvel television series". The first seven episodes of the series was opened to the television press. Out of the thirteen episodes, seven were accessed and by far, the series earns overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, according to Slashfilm.

The reviews praised the much needed racial representation which is very relevant to the use of sound. Furthermore, each review noted positively regarding the series' ability to balance levity and violence. The addition of a new setting, which is Harlem, also adds a fresh environment to previous places featured in "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil".

Both critics and the viewers noted that Cages represents more than just a superhero just by being a bulletproof black man. The constant feature of police shootings boosted the hero's importance.

While "Daredevil" Season 1, Season 2, and Jessica Jones Season 1 are available on Netflix, "Luke Cage" will be launched on September 30,2016. Meanwhile, "The Defenders" and "Iron Fist" will arrive in 2017. As to the Season 2 of "Jessica Jones", "Season 3 of Daredevil", and "The Punisher", there is no announcement yet.
