"One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum" and "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" characters will be clashing in a crossover video game in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS.

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works, the creators of the "Great Pirate Colosseum" and "Extreme Butoden," respectively issued the collaboration, based on the report of Game Spot.

The gameplay will allow gamers to have clash modes between the heroes and villains of both the franchise of "Dragon Ball" and "One Piece." This feature of Nintendo 3DS supports both local and online multiplayer and allows players to combine characters from the two fighting video games.

Players will once again enjoy a fight between Luffy and Goku (as well as their crew) in a huge fight it out session, similar in the fighting video game, "J-Stars Victory Vs," iTech Post reported.

"Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" is a 2D fighting game, which has more than 100 unique characters, group matches, one on one fights and more.

While the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game, "One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum," will have 23 playable characters as well as more than 80 support characters. But the game's European release has not yet been confirmed. One Piece video game will hit Japan on September 21.

Extreme Butoden was released in North America, Australia and Europe last October, as of yet, the Great Pirate Colosseum has not been confirmed for a release in the West.

The arcade game company Bandai Namco, describes this Nintendo 3DS feature as a cross-versus mode. More details are set to be announced by the game company prior to the update's release in early November.

However, "Dragon Ball Z" and "One Piece" fans who desired pitting Vegeta against Nami, they should take note that these video games are Nintendo 3DS titles and they are unavailable on any other platform, according to First Post.
