As the tech company announced the release date of iOS 10 during the event, the Cupertino based company also unveiled the sought after iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch 2.
The new software, iOS 10, was first announced at the Apple Inc.'s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) back in June, which includes a range of exciting new features. The tech monster has even described iOS 10 as their biggest iOS release ever, according to Mirror.
iOS 10, which is the tenth major release of the iOS operating system, will be pre-installed on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but the latest Apple OS can also be downloaded onto older Apple devices.
However, a massive complaint have been bumping social media sites, as a number of iPhone and iPad users encountered some installation problems. Some users failed the update process, with a subsequent error message asking them to connect their iOS device into a PC or Mac for a complete restore of the operating system, The Verge reported.
An Apple spokesperson stated that they experienced a brief issue with the software update process, in which it affects a small number of users during the first hour of availability. But, the problem was quickly resolved and the tech company apologizes to those customers.
Anyway, in upgrading to iOS 10 on a person's iPhone or iPad, first, tick on Settings, General, then Software Update.
The tech company recommends their users to backup their devices before installing the iOS 10 update. Users can do it with iCloud or by connecting it to a PC, based on the report of Telegraph.
One of the most exciting additional features to iOS is that the company will finally let users remove default apps.
