Blizzard Entertainment has released an update for the PC version of the team-based multiplayer video game "Overwatch." The new High Bandwidth Update of the video game will improve the overall online multiplayer first-person shooter experience.

The video game company also released the developer diary that features Senior Software Engineer II Philip Orwig and Lead Engineer Tim Ford, who discuss how the feature performs.

Orwig explains that a gamer need to keep in mind is that, if their connection is so slow, they don't have worry about it, Blizzard will downgrade them appropriately and then they will see the interpolation delay increase. Orwig added that everything is going to work out perfectly fine on that front, according to Game Spot.

Ford corroborated Orwig's statement by saying that the net result will let a player be shot around corners less, "Overwatch" gamers will be able to predict escape moves better and the server will hear about it sooner.

For "Overwatch" players with strong connections, the interpolation delay will decrease by over 50 percent, thanks to the new netcode incorporated into the video game with the new update, based on the report of Game Rant.

On the other hand, Blizzard has confirmed that the update 1.09 of "Overwatch" is now live on the PlayStation 4, as well as on Xbox One and PC. "Overwatch" update 1.09 will weigh in about 210MB download on both consoles. The "Overwatch" update 1.09 also fixes a few issues, Playstation Lifestyle reported.

The update 1.09 of the first-person shooter video game will now let "Overwatch" gamers see fewer Plays of the Game that features Mercy's Resurrection ability. The payload speed on Eichenwalde is now boosted.

Additionally, the bug that prevented the Triple Kill announcement from being played after a kill streak of 3 or more is now restored to working order.
