Apple Inc. is letting people to have a pre-order on their iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2 in nearly 30 territories around the globe. The gadgets' pre-order includes key markets in Asia as well as North America and Europe.
In the United States, the pre-order process of Apple's devices started a bit late for some customers. But, it has been claimed that the process will run smoothly on the Apple Store app for iOS, Apple's own website and the respective online storefronts of the tech company's partner wireless providers.
With the production moving away from two-year contracts, United States handset pricing starts at $649 for the 4.7 inch iPhone 7 with 32 gigabyte of storage, while the 128 gigabyte model will be $749. The maxed out 256 gigabyte model is available for $849, according to Apple Insider.
The 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus with 32 gigabyte of storage will cost $769, while the 128 gigabyte will be up for grabs up to $869, and the 256 gigabyte sells for $969.
Along with the pre-orders of the iPhones, the tech company also started taking advance orders for its latest Apple Watch. The latest Apple smartwatch looks identical to the previous version, but comes with one notable feature, the improved waterproof.
The tech giant officially called the device as the Apple Watch Series 2. The new Apple Watch is packed with a faster dual-core processor, upgraded graphics, as well as an improved display and GPS, CNET reported.
However, as Apple's website usually tends to get bogged down by the massive requests flowing in all at the same time, it's advisable for people to try and add a new iPhone to their shopping cart by using the Apple Store mobile app, based on the report of The Verge.
It's a reliable way for tech fans to go past the web store rush, and the app allows people to designate different purchase options, such as the iPhone Upgrade Program or the Next installment plan of AT&T.
