Motorola Moto M Release Date, Specs & Rumors: Handset Spotted On TENAA, Features Leaked? The Moto G Play Debuts In India!
ByWhile Motorola continues to remain mum regarding the Motorola Moto M release date, specs and price details, latest reports suggest that the much-awaited handset recently made an appearance on TENAA, Chinese certification website, unveiling a slew of its specs and features. The Motorola Moto M was also spotted in GFXBench listings not too long ago.
According to the TENAA listing, the Motorola M will sport a 5.5-inch screen housed in a metal body with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The purported handset will come with Dual-SIM support and LTE network connectivity and will run Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The smartphone bearing the model number XT1662, is also expected to pack a robust 3,000 mAh battery, ChristianTimes reported.
However, the specs and features for the Moto M XT1663 listed on GFXBench hint a 4.6-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 3GB of RAM, and a mammoth 32GB of internal storage capacity. The listed device is said to be powered by a Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor with a speed of 1.9GHz.
Moreover, the Moto M XT1663 is likely to sport a 16MP rear camera equipped with a single LED flash feature and an 8MP front shooter geared with full HD video recording capability.
The listing alludes to a couple of smartphones with model numbers - XT1663 and XT1662 - which means the Motorola M might be launched in two variants, iTechPost reported.
