As Niantic unleashed "Pokémon Go" on July 6, millions of gamers downloaded the app and started playing the augmented reality game.

While millions of gamers now have the augmented reality game app on their smartphones, some said that it's not a good news for Nintendo 3DS sales. But, the result was quite good, as the sales of 3DS hardware in the United States in July increased by 80%. The company believes that "Pokémon Go" was a huge part of that mount up.

There were no reports of specific sales data, but all versions of the 3DS as well as the 2DS were included in the hardware sales increase. Alongside the augmented reality game, the release of the action role-playing video game "Monster Hunter Generations" was the other possible reason for the huge sales increase. The sales bump may also point to the price drop for the 2DS to $79.99, according to Geek.

However, despite some issues rising up over the reality game, the sensational "Pokémon Go" is still burning bright. Where much-requested features like 1 on 1 battles and Pokémon trading are on their way to video game. In which the app will be a bit closer to the core Pokémon games and almost certainly boosting its already staggering popularity, Android Headlines reported.

On the other hand, in the blog post made by the "Pokémon Go" developer Niantic, the company is now giving players permanent bans whose Pokémon accounts showed clear signs of cheating, based on the report of Polygon.

The mobile game company stated that after they reviewed many reports of in-game cheating, they have started taking action against Pokémon players taking unfair advantage of and abusing the reality game.

If players do believe their account has been terminated incorrectly, they should report it to the "Pokémon Go" Help Center.
