It may seem to appear that Google will officially announce the Nexus 2016 smartphones a month or two from now. Nevertheless, the upcoming Google devices are not exactly a mystery to the people.

Thanks to the latest leak on Twitter, in which it lets individuals get a peek at what may be one of the new Nexus phones that will be released later this year.

The Twitter post described the smartphone as a combination of the iPhone and the "Nexus 4," and it appears that it resembles the edges of the "Nexus 4" style, based on the report of Android Headlines.

The leaked images allegedly showcased the Nexus phone codenamed "Sailfish." The "Sailfish" is claimed to be the smaller model of the 2016 Nexus smartphones, while the larger model being dubbed as "Marlin." As both Nexus smartphones are slated to resemble with their design, so the Nexus "Marlin" may look like the leaked image of "Sailfish," according to Android Police.

The body of the "Sailfish" smartphone is mostly metal, though there is a glass insert on the backside of the device that houses the gadget's fingerprint reader and its rear camera.

Also spotted in the leaked image was an antenna line at the bottom of phone's rear, and while there's no branding that occurred on this particular model, rumor has it that the final consumer version will have a "G" logo on the smartphone's backside.

However, it has been said that the upcoming Google Nexus 2016 smartphones will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The devices will feature Snapdragon 820 processors, as well as 4 gigabyte of RAM, and 32 gigabyte of internal memory.

While the Google Nexus "Sailfish" will come with a 5-inch - 1080p, Nexus Marlin, on the other hand, will probably offer a 5.5-inch Quad High-definition (1440 x 2560 pixels) screen, adding up to its larger battery, Phone Arena reported.
