Several "Pokemon Go" players are clueless in terms of what to expect when hatching Pokemon eggs in the hit augmented reality game, but a few avid gamers have teamed up and come up with a "Pokemon Go" egg chart that shows precisely what kinds of Pokemon are likely to hatch from an egg based on its distance required to hatch.

However, the burning question remains, does the location where an egg was acquired influence the type of Pokemon it will become upon hatching? GameNGuide tried to find an answer.

A Redditor named Zioip shared quite an intriguing observation in terms of the Pokemon he was able to get from hatching his 10km "Pokemon Go" eggs. According to the theory, his location is overflowing with a specific kind of Pokemon; the same kind that hatched from the 10km egg.

This sparked speculation hinting this could be a trend arranged into the mobile game. Another possibility is that it could just be a coincidence.

This theory is yet to be proven and remains a big mystery.

Another Redittor, Beastamer delved into the aforesaid conclusion about "Pokemon Go" eggs in a post. He reportedly found that "Pokemon Go" detects the distance traveled by gamers in a straight line. This implies if a player walks in a zig-zagged road, he/she will not get accurate credit from the distance they've traveled. Also, the topmost speed that a "Pokemon Go" trainer can travel for the game to credit the distance for hatching "Pokemon Go" eggs in 10.5km per hour.

Another "Pokemon Go" tip shared in a Reddit forum indicates that by setting your phone time to automatic can facilitate Pokemon spawn, and also help nearby lists update perfectly.

According to a post shared by a Redittor named anoman00, while playing "Pokemon Go," if the time on your phone is off by a few minutes, chances are the Pokemon won't show up and the nearby list stops updating as well.

Not too long ago, a report surfaced online indicating that "Pokemon Go" players can employ an incense to spawn rare Pokemon and level-up faster. The Redittor who shared his observation claimed he was able to get his hands on Primeape, Dugtrio, Magmar and Bulbasaur by using the said approach.
