The video game company - Capcom, has just unleashed the latest trailer for the upcoming survival horror video game "Resident Evil 7," that showcased a new female protagonist and a mysterious female character that's trying to catch her.

Resembling the previous PS4 exclusive demo released back in June, this brand new trailer is nevertheless in first-person view. The video game's trailer features the new female protagonist, named Mia, as she tries to evade the threatening figure that's carrying a lantern.

The mysterious female character is said to be Marguerite Baker (Jack Baker's wife), who was featured in the "Beginning Hour" demo, according to Polygon.

Perhaps the next instalment of Resident Evil will clear up the rest of the mysteries left from the "Beginning Hour" demo. As the ghost mystery angle that the earlier demo displayed seems to be no longer present in the new trailer.

The new trailer is claimed to make known the first actual in-game footage of upcoming survival horror video game. Which means that the final version of the video game will include this particular gameplay. As the video game company confirmed that the previous demo would not be part of the main campaign, based on the report of Digital Trends.

Producer Masachika Kawata made it known that in the main game, people will be playing as the main character. These video tapes are a chance for gamers to experience the events of the storyline from different perspectives. Players will be able to disperse the main narrative in an interesting way, Gamespot reported.

"Resident Evil 7" will be released on January 2017 in North America and Europe for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Owners of PlayStation VR will be able to play the game fully in virtual reality.
