After launching "Minecraft's" special edition for the Samsung Gear virtual reality (VR) headset, Oculus VR and Mojang are now unleashing a free update to the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta that will allow gamers to play "Minecraft" with the Oculus Rift.

For those "Minecraft" gamers who already owned a headset, they just need to take a hold of the launcher from the Oculus Store and let the games begin.

The graphic adventure video game - "Minecraft," now works on the Oculus Rift headset of Facebook, which is a highly regarded contender into the virtual reality world, according to CNET.

Mike McGrath, a Minecraft developer who helped build the software, posted a blog online that stated they would like to welcome players to the game all over again, for the reason that it's a fantastic new experience in virtual reality (VR), even if that gamer is a "Minecraft" veteran.

The version of "Minecraft" in Oculus VR requires gamers to use the Windows 10 beta-test version of the sandbox video game, which is free to those individuals who already owned "Minecraft" for personal computers. Otherwise the version will cost $10.

Marsh Davies of the video game developer Mojang, stated that VR Minecraft will include innate keyboard and mouse support, as well as the new options for the Xbox One controller. As it has been said that the fast movements can be disorienting in VR, the video game developer cleared it out by inserting a system that allows players to turn in snappy increments rather than a single arc, Digital Trends reported.

However, aside from the tweaks of Microsoft to the support for mouse and keyboard, other improvements include the optimized Windows 10 DX11 performance, new render distance settings as well as the MSAA for crisp visuals, according to PC World.

And the Oculus version of "Minecraft" utilizes a newer C++ version of the game.
