On Tuesday, the computer manufacturing company Lenovo announced publicly a pair of VR-ready, compact desktop PCs. Both devices are drafted to be easy to transport without compromising on power.
Lenovo revealed their pair of PC at the Gamescom, in which the company codenamed the devices as the "IdeaCentre Y710 Cube" and "IdeaCentre AIO Y910." Both PC showed off minimalist form factors, which are designed for gamers who don't want to be confined to their desk. As the "Y710 Cube" weighs just 16 pounds, it also comes along with a built-in carry handle.
Lenovo's latest "Y710 Cube" is equipped with a sixth generation Intel i7 CPU, a 32 gigabyte of DDR4 RAM, as well as Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics and a 256 gigabyte SSD or 2TB hard disk. Those specs will definitely delight video gamers, as it confidently manipulate 4K gaming, virtual reality (VR), and high-quality streaming, according to PC Mag.
Meanwhile, the "AIO Y910" is built entirely within a 27-inch 2,560-by-1,440 borderless monitor, along with similar specifications as the "Y710 Cube." It also makes a deliberate display of an easily detachable back panel, which allows the owner for a one-step access to its components - for those of individuals who like to continually tweak their system.
But, when it comes to ports, the "Y710 Cube" is oddly deficient. As the connections for HDMI and VGA are only one each. In spite of that, the Y710 has an Xbox One wireless controller, based on the report of The Verge.
On the other hand, a Twitter post revealed the new Lenovo laptops, and these laptops are "IdeaPad 710S Plus," "Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4 11" as well as the "Lenovo Yoga 910" and "Yoga 5 Pro."
The 710s Plus is the first of those revealed devices, in which it is claimed that the laptop weigh in at just 2.8 pounds and in a 13-inch, 1080p display, Business Insider reported.
