While avid "Pokemon Go" fans across the world continue to go ape looking for their favorite Pokemon, the main question of the game remains how to "catch 'em all"?

Players are facing a slew of challenges in the game, especially when it comes to catching rare Pokemon, this is mainly because they don't even have an idea where to look for them.

Here are a few tips to catch Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Kabutops and Aerodactyl, which is one of the most difficult-to-catch Pokemon.

Aerodactyl hails from the age of dinosaurs and boast one of the highest base attacks among the rock type Pokemon in the hit augmented reality game.

Kabutops is another hard-to-catch Pokemon that has one of the highest defence rate among rock type Pokemons in the game. Players can bump into these types of Pokemon in rocky areas including quarries and farmlands, RankedBoost reported.

Alternatively, players can hatch Kabutops from a 10 kilometer egg. Moreover, these creatures have also been spotted in parking lots, hiking trails and on nature reserve.

Although the rare Aerodactyl does not feature evolution stages, players can still hatch it in 10 kilometer eggs.

Gamers interested in getting their hands on Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, have to evolve Eevee.

Pinsir is among the rarest beetle type Pokemon in the game. The Pokemon boast quite a decent attack power coupled with high base defense. Pinsir can be found in farmlands, parks and golf courses. Other way to catch it is by hatching it from 10 kilometer eggs.

As players continue to reach higher XP levels, they realizes that specific Pokemon require more arm-twist as compared to other Pokemon. If reports doing rounds are anything to go by, players are expected to face difficulty while capturing 15 creatures and the gamers will need to make provision for their low base capture rate.

In addition, defending PokeGym is a critical part of the game. Here's a list of the 5 Pokemon that are best used for the task, GameNGuide reported.

Poliwrath

At 2,505.33, this Pokemon boast the lowest attack CP off of the Pokemon listed here. However, the creature compensates its lack of combat power with an impressive base defense of 202.

Dragonite

This is the most powerful Pokemon in "Pokemon Go," packed with a max CP of 3,500.

Lapras

This water type Pokemon is strong in attacking dragon types and fire types Pokemon. With a max CP of 2980.73, it has a base defense of 190 and stamina of 260 in the game. It is an ideal Pokemon for defending PokeGyms.

Victreebel

With CP of 2,530, Victreebel is the second weakest Pokemon on the list. It boasts a stamina rating of 160 and a base defense of 152. It is quite an effective defender.

Exeggutor

It is an evolution from Exeggcute and does not have the same defensive skill of Lapras and Poliwrath, but boasts a decent defense rating of 164 with a base attack of 232, which is second highest from Dragonite.

Its important to note that these Pokemon are of random order; being number 1 does not imply it is the most powerful or most prized Pokemon.
