Two of the console giants, Sony and Microsoft, are preparing for a big release. PS4 Neo from Sony and Xbox One Scorpio are next generation consoles worth investigating.

In terms of specs, Xbox One's Project Scorpio will sport eight CPU cores with over 320 GB/s memory bandwidth. The console will also offer six teraflops of raw CPU power and will support 4K gaming and VR, LearnBonds reported.

The PS4 Neo, on the other hand will feature a superb clock speed that goes up to 2.1 GHz. Just like the Project Scorpio, the PS4 Neo will also have a well improved GPU.

Most gamers believe that both consoles are good enough to run VR and 4K gaming. However, there are reports arising that the Xbox One Scorpio is not powerful enough to handle this level of gaming experience. Scorpio's 5.9 TF card makes it impossible to deliver a 4K gaming experience, but it has enough CPU power for an effective virtual reality gaming experience. Meanwhile, the PS4 Neo will be able to deliver 4K easily and without compromising the game's framerate performance, iTech Post reported.

The early release date set for both the Xbox one Scorpio was set to launch in 2016, however, Microsoft said that they will delay the box One Scorpio's release to summer of 2017 with its price not yet known. The PlayStation 4 Neo's Price and release date is yet to be confirmed while rumor says that the Neo will be released in October.

The head of Xbox Division, Phil Spencer, said that the full experience of the Project Scorpio lies in the 4K television. He also said that gamers that do not have the 4K TV will not gain the full experience of Xbox One's Project Scorpio.

Spencer also mentioned in social media that the Xbox One Scorpio did npt overshadow the Xbox One S.
