The latest game craze Pokémon GO is supposed to be accompanied with a device called 'Pokémon GO Pokémon GO Plus' that will eventually tap convenience for the players. However, due to some educated and valid reasons, the supposed to be released and launching in July was postponed to sometime in September.
Pokémon GO Plus
According to Android Headlines, "The Pokémon GO Plus is a small wearable device that helps players in their quest to finding Pokemon. The device vibrates when it is near Pokemon, thus, the player will just know and don't have to take out their phone and can even catch the Pokemon directly from the wearable as long as it is one that they have already caught before." This device can be worn in the wrist and lights up when Pokemon and PokeStops are detected nearby.
Price and specs
The device is compatible with both Android and iOS versions of Pokémon GO and will cost $34.99. No pre-orders have been reported.
Reasons for delayed launching
An updated report from Polygon says that production concern is not the main reason on the delay of launching. A Nintendo representative says they took up proper measures to ensure that the game will work properly with the accessory. "The delay is due to the preparations for Pokémon GO application update in order to optimize Pokémon GO Plus with a quality level high enough to satisfy as many people as possible. We decided that it is necessary to take enough time for the completion," Nintendo said in a statement.
Pokémon GO was developed by Niantic while Pokémon GO Plus was by Nintendo. Unverified rumor says that the device will be released right after the glitches been removed from the game.
