The update version 1.1.0 of the augmented reality app 'Pokemon GO' is now available on iOS and it comes with new features or functions as well as issues that concerned the players.
According to Nintendo Insider, the update adds the opportunity for players to re-customise their Trainer avatar, adjusting battle move damage values for specific Pokemon, improved memory issues, removing footprints of nearby Pokemon, and addressing bug fixes that occur in wild Pokemon encounters.

Issues
There's a report that says, "The new Pokemon GO update has removed the game's step counter, some players are suffering from a glitch that takes their avatar back to level one." Due to devastation, most of the players took to social media frustrations for letting them go back to square one.
However, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon GO addressed the panic through their official website explaining that there's no truth behind the report, "Some iOS users might experience an issue where it appears that gameplay progress has been reset. Please be assured that your gameplay progress has NOT been lost. It remains safe and intact."
They also said that their Google Account login system was updated and the player must have created another account than the original one used for the game. For this matter, the company offered a step-by-step solution to resolve the login issue through their support page.
