Tom Taylor returns to take part in the comic version for DC's "Injustice" video game series.

During the "Injustice 2" panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego today, DC Entertainment has announced that renowned writer Tom Taylor will return to the franchise. He will write the digital-first comic adaptation of the most awaited Injustice 2 video game.

Taylor is an important character on the creation of the best-selling comic -"Injustice: Gods Among Us", he serves as the series' original writer. He then became a fan-favorite in a matter of time and being weighed as a huge critical and sales success.

Taylor said in the interview that he was very excited in his return to the Injustice universe and do the same thing on what he has done on its first comic. He also add some of his thoughts on playing the world's greatest Super Heroes and Villains while thanking everyone at DC, Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm for the opportunity and having faith in him and his team alongside editor Jim Chadwick, Comic Book Resources reported.

He then share his plans on how the "Injustice 2" series will turn out. As Taylor said during his interview, the comic will serve as a prequel story to the new "Injustice" video game. While releasing new episodes weekly and making its significant debut prior to the game's release this 2017. He also tells the fans to prepare for some tragic twists on the DC characters and more emotions involving Harley Quinn.

It was also revealed on the panel in San Diego a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming "Injustice 2" video game. The trailer features two new characters in Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle. They will both join the massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Villains of the game.

"Injustice 2" is a video game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by WBIE that features a massive list of DC characters --both Heroes and Villains and enable players to create an ultimate form of their beloved DC characters. It is a sequel to the hit game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One in 2017, newsarama.com reported.
