While Rumor mills continue churning speculations hinting several theories as to who will Oliver Queen square off against in the upcoming "Arrow" Season 5; it looks like one of the heels in "Arrow" Season 5 is someone Oliver created himself.

"Arrow" producer Wendy Mericle made a shocking revelation in the San Diego Comic-Con issue of TV Guide that in Season 5 a villain related to Oliver's killing spree in the first season will make an appearance.

Basically, someone Oliver accidentally created in the first season when he was a killer in a hood, will return to Season 5 as a villain.

"This guy is going to be collateral damage who lost someone to the Hood," Mericle said about the mystery heel in Season 5; further adding that this villain has spent several years training and planning for revenge. The "Arrow" Season 5 villain will truly be a dark mirror to Oliver Queen, Screen Crush reported.

This description echoes previous rumors hinting "Arrow" Season 5 will be the debut for a series regular named James. This character was detailed as a "man on a mission" who is gunning for vengeance after losing someone in his life several years ago.

Actor Stephen Amell hinted that the big bad in "Arrow" Season 5 does not boast any sort of superpowers.

It's not just the number of Green Arrow's nemesis that is growing larger; his team is bursting forth as well. Team Arrow in "Arrow" Season 5 will feature Rick Gonzalez, who portrays the role of Wild Dog. He has previously appeared in "Rosewood" and "Mr. Robot." Although he is the new vigilante in Star City, the Green Arrow mentors him citing his audacious attitude, Entertainment Weekly.

Having an apprentice vigilante might actually work in favor of Green Arrow, taking into consideration that Star City is infested with crime in "Arrow" Season 5.

Oliver Queen is slated to make a return to politics as interim mayor of Star City in "Arrow" Season 5 which will premiere on October 5 on The CW.
