The fashionable and functional "Apple Watch" will soon get its first true role-playing game (RPG), developed by the Final Fantasy maker, Square Enix.

Square Enix, a Japanese video game developer, unleashed a teaser website that showed what is presumably the name of the role-playing game, which is "Cosmos Rings."

Aside from the psychedelic blue-and-purple artwork, the site displayed a wrist wearing an "Apple Watch" and details that the game will indeed be an RPG, available for the device through the Watch App Store, according to Arstechnica.

Even though there's no details on the gameplay, Square Enix appears to have some screenshots of what the role-playing game may look like on "Apple Watch."

But, there's no proof that the blog post of the game is credible, and the video game company could still be wrapping up "Cosmos Rings." In that, the definitive version of the game could change significantly.

The roleplaying game "Cosmos Rings" that will run on smartwatch is said to be a spinoff from the Apple's "Chaos Rings" franchise, which utilizes the device's pedometer, The Verge reported.

Despite the game's incredibly vague description, Takehiro Ando, who worked on "Chaos Rings" and the science fiction media franchise "Final Fantasy," will be one of the A-list talent behind the game.

Also, Yusuke Naora, the art director on a number of "Final Fantasy" titles, will be returning to do art for the game, based on the report of Slash Gear.

"Cosmos Rings" will have a distinctive attribute of the "Time Upstream System," that will make the practical use of the "Apple Watch's" Digital Crown. The game will send a person various message according to their daily step counts as part of an experience that the company claimed can only be done through the smart watch.

The graphics of the game is of a very high standard, and it'll have a combination of dot-art looks to bring a feeling of nostalgia, Siliconera reported.
