Square Enix has firmly established that the upcoming PS4 version of the action-adventure video game "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is being designed to move at a speed at 1080p/30fps.

The resolution of the action-adventure video game is the same with the Xbox One version.

The representative of the video game company said in a statement that they are still optimizing, and the company also made it known that the frame rate will not be below 30 frames per second (fps), according to Video Gamer.

Interestingly, the publisher of the "Tomb Raider" video game also said that beyond the game's frame rate and resolution is a bonus. But, it is unclear, whether or not it is a reference to the latest and more powerful PlayStation 4 Neo console, based on the report of Game Spot.

The statement made by the company was similar to the one in the run up of "Definitive Edition" in 2014, where they claimed that they deliver the core gameplay of "Tomb Raider" at 1080p and running at 30fps. And the company added that anything over 30fps for that version is gravy.

In the blog post of PlayStation, they claimed that they are adding a new online co-op expansion to Endurance mode. Players will have an opportunity to team up to raid tombs and battle for the longest survival run to remain atop of the leaderboards.

Along with Endurance mode, all previously released Downloadable content (DLC) will be included, such as the three hour story addition "Baba Yaga," as well as the "Cold Darkness Awakened" pack. And with just one package, a player can receive all of the outfits, weapons and a ton of Expedition Cards.

On the other hand, Alicia Vikander is set to take on the titular role Lara Croft in the next "Tomb Raider" film, which is set on March 16, 2018.
