Apple iPhone 7 Leaks Teases A New Larger Model; A Footage Showing Dummy Units Sourced From China Surfaces Online [VIDEO]
ByJust when it looked like rumor mills have finally ceased swirling speculations around the looming iPhone 7, a fresh piece of information hinting Apple will release not two but three new iPhone 7 models in September have surfaced online.
Rumors are running rampant that Apple will unveil three new iPhone 7 models: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. Photos showing all three devices side-by-side have surfaced via Nowhereelse.fr, perhaps the most accurate leak site.
While this piece of information might make iPhone fanatics jump for joy, it is actually a combination of good and bad news.
Good News
Those waiting with bated breath for the iPhone 7, and practically every smartphone zealot should be more than happy with the arrival of the iPhone 7 Pro and it really is top dog.
The smartphone features the much-flaunted dual lens rear camera and a Smart Connector - traceable by the three dots on the device's lower back - which enables connected peripherals to share power and data at the same time. It is only available on the iPad Pro range at present.
Bad News
The obvious defect to this development? Apparently, neither the iPhone 7 nor the iPhone 7 Plus will be receiving these new features and this will definitely disappoint iPhone 7 Plus fans who anticipated to at least get the dual camera setup.
On the contrary, it looks like Apple fans will have to ante up for a brand-new, more premium top-tier model which will be reportedly $100 more at each capacity size depending on the current iPhone pricing structure, Forbes reported.
Beside, the iPhone 7 Pro seems to be even larger than the already large iPhone 7 Plus and this is a problem because it leaves the smaller i.e. 4.7-inch iPhone further off the pace taking into consideration that that Plus models already feature a camera, battery life and display.
That said, since 4.7-inch iPhones still outsell the Plus, it's clear many people opt for the smaller version as compared to buying a phablet.
Meanwhile, a new video have surfaced giving fans what seems like the best look yet at a dummy iPhone 7. In the video posted on YouTube channel ConceptsiPhone, the video host claim the dummy unit came straight from a supply chain partner, TheNextWeb reported.
Besound, the company behind the video is in Shenzen and so if Foxconn, a major supplier to Apple.
