Fans Officially Need to Wait Longer for 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Episodes [SPOILER ALERT]

Game of Thrones will return next summer but with shortened episodes than the previous season.

The Emmy favorite show previous seasons have 10 episodes but in the 7^th season, the show will have only 7 episodes. The Vox also learned that Game of Thrones season 7 premiere date will be delayed.

Reached out for comment, D.B Weiss revealed that the production has to be delayed because of the need for 'real snow'. The showrunner explained how it has caused the starting a little bit later. And since the production starts this summer, GOT season 7 will debut the next summer.

As for Game of Thrones season 7 shorter episodes, the fans are quite disappointed with the network announcement. This marks the first time that GOT consists of only seven.
