The next generation of iPad Pro is slated to make an appearance sometime in September earliest, and if rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, it will be unveiled along with the iOS 10.

The original iPad Pro was released in September last year, later Apple took the wraps off a 9.7-inch model in March this year. Taking into consideration that September is the time for the Cupertino-based tech giant to unwrap an array of devices along with a new operating system, the possibility of unveiling the next iPad Pro is likely.

The tablet's announcement is likely to correspond with the imminent iPhone 7 and iOS 10, PC Advisor reported.

Rumor mills have swirled a slew of other speculations centering on the official release date of the iPad Pro 2.

If rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, it will come with the A10X chipset installed, which imply the actual launch will not come until 2017.

Besides, Apple will have its hands full with the next generation of its AX chipset, which will reportedly run the next iteration of iPad models. The aforementioned chipsets for Apple will be delivered by Taiwan Semiconductors, and not too long ago it announced that the mass production of its 10-nanometer chip will only commence late 2016 and early 2017, which means that the A10X chipset will be launched only during that period, The Motley Fool reported.

Besides the purported A10X chipset, the new iPad Pro will reportedly boast an array of features.

Although it will be made available with the same storage options and rose gold variant, it will reportedly mirror the specs of the 9.7-inch iPro, featuring a 12-megapixel iSight camera with 4K video recording and live photos. The device will reportedly boast a front shooter with at least 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera with a retina flash.

While iPad fans are waiting with bated breath for the purported iPad Pro, a few iPad variants including the iPad Air and iPad Mini 5 could potentially hit the shelves during first half of 2016 and at the second half of the year, respectively.

Apple has not divulged any details and remained mum about the device's release date and it looks like fans will have to wait until the Cupertino-based tech firm reveal further details.
