On Wednesday, the American automotive and energy storage company - Tesla Motors, offers a cheaper version of its "Model X SUV."

The full-sized all-electric crossover SUV called the "Model X 60D" - which has a range of 200 miles and the highest speed of 130 miles per hour. The automotive company offers the vehicle for $74,000 before applicable rebates of the government.

While the "P90D," which is the top-end version of the Model X, is offered at $115,500. "P90D" has a range of 250 miles with a top speed of 155 miles per hour.

The cheaper Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) comes in the middle of a strong consumer demand for larger vehicles, as the electric car manufacturer recently unveiled a sedan with a starting price of $35,000. But that vehicle, which is dubbed as "Model 3," won't be available until 2017, according to TIME.

However, Tesla Motors has confirmed that the "Model X 60D" will actually be the "Model X 75D's" software-limited version. The less expensive version will come with the same 75 kWh battery pack, and by paying $9,500 - the client will then be given a software update over the air that will upgrade the "Model X 60D" into a "Model X 75D," based on the report of Tech Times.

Tesla Motors added that the company will stop the manufacturing 60 kWh battery pack, which will provide efficiencies to the production process of the company and will allow it to pass cost saving and flexibility to its essential customers.

Tesla representative said in a statement that "Model X" is the safest, quickest and most capable SUV in history. The existing "Model X" owners are having an intense feeling of deep affection for their cars, USA Today reported.

Tesla Motors is expected to begin production late next year. And there is already a waiting list of 375,000 people who have made a down payment of $1,000, according to CNN.
