Square Enix brings in the Kuala Lampur-based game developer Streamline Studios to help in developing the upcoming action video game "Final Fantasy XV."

Square Enix, the Japanese video game developer and publisher, created the video game for for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The reason why Square Enix brought in Streamline Studios is for its global production platform, and the studio experience in triple-A collaborations. Streamline Studios has collaborated with over 200 video game projects which includes 2K Games' "BioShock Infinite," space sim video game "Star Citizen," "Gears of War" of Epic Games, Paradox Interactive's "Pillars of Eternity" and Capcom's fighting video game "Street Fighter V," Develop Online reported.

Alexander L. Fernandez (Streamline CEO) said in a statement that their team are big fans of Square Enix and their games. They're honored to have worked with them on the upcoming release of such a cherished series as Final Fantasy.

CEO Fernandez also said that they look forward to applying their years of production experience and state-of-the-art technology, Streamframe to this new collaboration.

Other than the studio's Streamframe platform, no specific details were thrown out by Streamline Studios on what exactly they will be providing to the "Final Fantasy XV." But, based on Streamline's experience, they have come to the aid of animation testing, building in-engine prototypes, debugging, character and level coordination, DLC and day-one patch support, according to Playstation Lifestyle.

However, the upcoming action role-playing video game will render the tale of a young prince's journey as he reclaims his throne from the control of the imperial army, based on the report of GameSpot.

As the "Final Fantasy XV" will be released on Xbox One and PS4 on September 30, director Hajime Tabata made it known to the public that the video game will be completed in 40-50 hours, Den of Geek reported.
