The Season 1 of "Attack On Titan" anime series has gained commercial success. Apparently, there are lots of followers are asking about its release date, since Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger episode. Now, the mysterious release date of Season 2 has been answered as some reports claimed that the release date is set in 2017.

After waiting years for a release date for season 2, the people behind the anime mega hit has finally announced a release date for its second season. Before the release date confirmed, although there is no exact date, there was a vague agreement, (which is the AOT manga version should be 4-story-arcs ahead of the series) between Hajime Isayama, AOT creator, and Tetsuro Araki, the anime creator.

As of the moment, the manga right is still not ahead of the series by a number 4-story-arcs, but Isayama confirmed to push through with the production of the manga series, since season 2 anime premiere is still going to be a long way off.

In a report by CrossMap, the upcoming Season 2 of "Attack on Titan" is said to be built upon the "Clash of Titan" story arc, which involves and reveals more about humans that change into titans. A few of the human characters, namely Ymir, Bertolt, and Reiner Braun are revealed to be capable of changing into titans, and they will attempt to abduct the main protagonist, Eren Yaeger, all of which will happen in Season 2.

It will also be revealed who were the colossal, and armored titans that have made appearances, and caused countless deaths and problems for the humans. There motives have remained a mystery until season 2 comes along.

Most tragically, it turns out that Reiner and Bertolt, was actually the devastating colossal and armored titan that first broke the wall. Until now, the motive of these titans is unknown, but it seems fans should follow "Attack on Titan" Season 2 to seek answers.
