"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC" is set for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox. Releases for PlayStation 4 will come earlier than PC and Xbox versions.

Fans are getting excited as the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC are being released in the market.Last November 2015, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" was released. Following the release will be four downloadable contents. Two of which is already released by Treyach: Awakening and Eclipse. While the other DLC Packs which is yet to be named, will be released within this year, Hall of Fame Magazine reported.

The release dates of the downloadable contents are as follows:

The DLC Map 1 of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3", Awakening, features four multiplayer maps. Splash, Rise, Hijacked, and Gauntlet. It also sports a new Zombies Mode map named Der EisenDrache. The multiplayer map Hijacked is a remake of a map in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2".

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Eclipse DLC (Map Pack 2), features four new multiplayer maps namely, Spire, Rift, Verge, and Knockout. It also includes a new chapter in the Call of duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Mode named Zetsubou No Shima. Also, the multiplayer map Verge was reimagined from "Call of Duty: World At War".

The third DLC Map Pack is rumored to have hints for the new zombie mode. A new specialist for the multiplayer option will be introduced. The new specialist will be named Blackjack, Gottabemobile reported.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 downloadable contents will be first released on PlayStation 4 because of Activision's agreement with Sony.
