While "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is all set to make its debut on November 4, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" bundled with PS4 is making an impressive contribution as far as total sales of Sony's popular home video game console is concerned.

A staggering 85% of PlayStation 4s that sold in the first quarter of 2016 in the US were packed with a copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III," according to reports on VGCharz.

Activision COO Thomas Tippl too confirmed this.

"[It's] an amazing statistic which bodes well for the franchises' engagement and in-game play investment continued to expand rapidly," Tippl said while speaking to investors.

The PS4 platform is entitled to get all Black Ops 3 post-release DLC before Xbox One and PC and this further contributes to total sales.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the twelfth entry in the Call of Duty series. The popular first-person shooter is the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II which was released in 2012.

What makes Black Ops 3 the best shooter is the fact that the players get three games in one

1) A complete single-player campaign
2) An independent zombies mode
3) Multiplayer

Single player mode is exclusively available on PS4 and Xbox One. The mode features four players co-op that has an intriguing twist, according to reports on BidnessEtc.

The mode allow players to adjust difficulty based on the number of human players.

Until a player's character gears itself with an array of weaponry as well as cybernetics via the new DNI (Direct Neural Interface) system, he is simply considered as a player.

Your weapons are secured to your player. You are allowed to change your armory at various points. This imply you can't pick up dropped weapons. That said, there is a way to do that, but we will leave it to you to find out. The best option for those playing the game for the first time is to stick with cybernetics and field ops armory as they are simply the best when it comes to missions.

In addition, players can customize their own cybernetics and field ops armory.

For those who can't wait till October when Activision is slated to release the next installment in the popular first-person shooter, Black Ops 3 is the best bet. Although it doesn't feature an Oscar-Winning star like Kevin Spacey, it's a fun campaign nevertheless.

Players can choose between single or co-op play.
