Samsung's Galaxy C series is part of the Korean company's mid-range phones including the Galaxy A and J series. Reports say that a Geekbench score leaked the specs of Samsung's Galaxy C5 smartphone. It looks like the Galaxy C5 will have the same metal makeover as the Galaxy J series.
Samsung Galaxy C5 Specs
It looks like the specs for the Samsung Galaxy C5 is leaked out due to Geekbench scores that were posted online. Judging from the result information, the Galaxy C5 looks to be fit for mid-range needs. Tech Times notes that the Samsung Galaxy C5 will have a 5.2 inch screen display with a lower resolution than the Samsung S7. It will have an octa-core Snapdragon chip with 1.5 GHz speed. It also has Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The C5 will have 4 GB of RAM as well.
Android Authority shares that the Galaxy C5 will be shipped with default Android 6.01. Marshmallow. The website notes that Samsung's Galaxy C5 has similar specs with the Galaxy A5 that was released in early 2016. However, the C5 has a metal body build and it looks like the line with metal build materials will be more expensive.
Samsung Galaxy C5 Release Date and Price
Reports say that the Galaxy C5 smartphone will be released next month. However, it will only be available in China, Value Walk reports. It is not yet known if the Galaxy C5 will be released in other regions including North America, Europe and other parts. There is no official announcement about C5's availablility or price range from Samsung yet. Mobile Choice UK shares that the Galaxy C5 and C7 might be released soon and they will contend strongly with other mid-range competitors.
