The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus may not hit the market yet, but the leaks have gone viral on the two premium smartphones. Apple is expected to make changes on its devices but many believe that the giant company could be continuing the reign of a single speaker and slightly different size from its predecessor, iPhone 6s.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus design
On its chassis, the new model will be waterproof and enhanced with metal casing. iPhone 7 is rumored to have a thinner size as it is said to eliminate the 3.5 mm jack from the phone. iPhone 7th generation will still apply sleek design and dynamically rounded edges.
The image surfaced on the internet shows that iPhone 7 Plus will have a smart connector at the back of the body. Other features will include TSMC A10 processors and 2GB RAM for iPhone 7. As for iPhone 7 Plus, there might be 3GB of RAM enhanced in it. As an entertainment device, the iPhone 7 is expected to have similar screen size to iPhone 6s with 5.5 inch maximum.
No more pinch to zoom
Japanese blog Macotakara also mentions about the single lens camera on iPhone 7 but aren't sure whether it features the same on iPhone 7 Plus. Rumor has it that if iPhone 7 Plus has dual lens camera, then it will take better images since it is equipped with optical zoom as well. In fact, it could compete against conventional cameras. The pinch to zoom feature has resulted in grainy images. Thus, iPhone 7 Plus might use zoom lens on its second camera.
Single speaker
According to MacRumors, there has been many debates on whether Apple is going to enhance the audio with dual-speaker. However, rumors believe that the smartphones could be lacking of it. Instead, iPhone 7 might be using single-speaker but enhanced with earpods that feature Bluetooth connectivity.
