Tyler Junior College Significantly Advances Online Marketing Strategy Through Migration to Jadu, a Modern Student Engagement Platform
ByCHICAGO, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jadu, Inc. a global Web Content Management vendor today announced that Tyler Junior College (TJC), TX, has selected the Jadu Universe CMS to deliver a new, rich student web experience for the college's corporate online communications.
TJC is one of the largest community colleges in Texas, with an enrollment of more than 12,000 credit students each year with an additional 20,000 continuing education enrollments annually.
The college has been exploring new, modern content management solutions in the higher education market to begin their digital student engagement and communications strategy. Following an exhaustive evaluation, the team at TJC recommended Jadu CMS for their upcoming migration.
"We wanted to modernize the way the College communicates with its customers-our students. When we started the selection of a web content management system, the paramount importance was web standards compliant technology using the very latest standards. I personally prefer a 'vended' solution but many times those solutions are not forward thinking and are slow to respond to technical advancements. However, Jadu is light years ahead of other well-established vendors in the higher education market and a great fit for us at TJC," said Larry Mendez, CIO of Tyler Junior College.
"Since Jadu is now growing our partnerships with universities rapidly in the US, we're starting to see some amazing opportunities for our Digital Forms and Data Capture software and our mobile products as well as Web Content Management," said Richard Friend, Global Business Manager at Jadu. "Tyler Junior College now joins a collaborative that has an entire platform of higher education specific tools to choose from as they accelerate their digital strategies."
"We're thrilled to be working with Tyler Junior College," said Suraj Kika, CEO of Jadu. "Our partnership with the team at TJC will provide prospective students, existing students and college staff with a modern, standards-compliant website and CMS, and we're excited about seeing the difference this will make for the college after launch."
Tyler Junior College becomes the fifth North American user to join the Jadu partnership in less than 12 months, with Coppin State University and Messiah College having recently started implementation of Jadu CMS.
TJC will begin implementation of the Jadu platform in the spring of 2012.
