Two Florida Gators teammates got into a fight outside the school's football stadium, but it seems as though neither players' status will be changed for Saturday's game.

According to the Gainesville Sun, sophomore quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg and freshman defensive lineman Gerald Willis were apparently in a dust up that left the former with a lacerated lip. Mornhinweg went to the hospital to have his injury treated, but neither he nor Willis is reportedly pressing charges.

"It was a misunderstanding between two teammates," Steve McClain, a University of Florida (UF) spokesman, said in a statement. "Coach [Will] Muschamp has not announced any discipline decisions at this time."

UF head football coach Will Muschamp did not comment on the matter.

Maj. Brad Barber, a UF Police Department spokesman, told multiple media outlets that officers responded to the fight at about 7 p.m. Monday outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. According to ESPN, Mornhinweg said the confrontation had been over his cleats, which staff members apparently misplaced in Willis' locker.

"Upon our arrival, the individuals had already been separated," Barber said. "After reviewing with both individuals involved, they each filled out a complaint withdrawal, and no charges were filed."

An unnamed source close to the matter told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that Willis is expected to play Saturday when Florida hosts LSU. Mornhinweg will likely serve as the team's backup quarterback, since Treon Harris has been ruled out after being accused of sexual assault.

Shortly after that news had broke, UF announced Harris would be placed on an indefinite suspension pending a police investigation. Barber did not have any new information regarding Harris, though he has not been charged with a crime at this time.

Jeff Driskel will likely start against LSU, though the quarterback looked ineffective against Tennessee and was pulled in favor of Harris. It is unclear now who Muschamp will put under center come Saturday.
