While Jameis Winston hopes to be the second college football player to ever win back-to-back Heisman Trophies, a host of student-athletes will try to win their first.

Last season, Winston won the award en route to leading the Florida State Seminoles to an undefeated season and the BCS National Title. He became the second freshman to ever win the Heisman, but is now the youngest winner ever.

Johnny Manziel, who was the first freshman Heisman winner the year before, was a finalist for the award. Archie Griffin, a running back formerly at Ohio State was the last college football player to win the Heisman in two consecutive seasons, doing it in 1974 and 1975.

12 of the last 14 Heisman Trophy winners have been quarterbacks, meaning Winston has a fairly good shot at repeating, but he has four competitors who could make a run at it. According to SB Nation, Las Vegas online sportsbook Bovada released their odds for the coveted trophy.

Here are the top ten QBs followed by their odds

1. Winston, 9/2

2. Marcus Mariota, Oregon, 6/1

3. Braxton Miller, Ohio State, 15/2

4. Bryce Petty, Baylor, 12/1

5. Brett Hundley, UCLA, 14/1

6. Nick Marshall, Auburn, 16/1

7. Trevor Knight, Oklahoma, 18/1

8. Everett Golson, Notre Dame, 20/1

9. Connor Cook, Michigan State, 40/1

10. Sean Mannion, Oregon State, 40/1

If Bovada is correct, the only other offensive player that could possibly win the Heisman would have to be a running back.

Here are the top 10 running backs followed by their odds

1. Todd Gurley, Georgia, 14/1

2. Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin, 16/1

3. T.J. Yeldon, Alabama, 20/1

UCLA's linebacker Myles Jack was the only defensive player on the list at 40/1 odds. Charles Woodson was the last defensive player to win the Heisman when he did so in 1997, but he was also a punt returner.
