After an unexpected 5-1 victory over Spain, the Netherlands is heading confidently into their matchup with Australia Wednesday afternoon.

Australia, on the other hand, is coming off a 3-1 loss to Chile, making their path out of Group B much more difficult. Knowing Spain's track record in international play, the Netherlands are in a good position to win the group after beating them handily to open the World Cup.

Chile and Spain kick-off just after the Netherlands' matchup with Australia should be finishing up. Already tied atop Group B, both the Netherlands and Chile could help themselves earn a place in the round of 16.

According to FIFA.com, Estadio Beira-Rio, in the city of Porto Alegre, will host the match. The arena was built in 1969 and seats 43,394 people.

A southern Brazilian city, the match should be played in fair weather, according to Weather.com, with the temperature reaching the 70s and chance for rain mid-match.

The Netherlands' offensive outburst against Spain came from three different scorers, so Australia will have to remain disciplined on defense. Robben (53', 80') and Van Persie (44', 72') each scored twice and De Verij (65') scored once. Chile scored three goals by three different players on Australia in their previous match: Alexis (12'), Valdivia (14') and Beausejour (90'+).

The Netherlands finished as the runners up in the 2010 World Cup and they lost the title game to Spain, adding even more motivation to advance deep into this year's tournament. Second place is the best this team has ever finished in nine tournament appearances, accomplishing the feat also in 1974 and 1978.

Australia has not been quite as successful in their four World Cup appearances, reaching the round of 16 only once, in 2006.
