Nick Saban was not too keen on answering questions about a former college football player's insinuation that the University of Alabama offers top recruits cars for signing.

Pat White, who played quarterback for West Virginia University, posted on Facebook with the message "glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer." His post contained an article about Alabama running back recruit Derrick Henry showing off a brand new car.

According to ESPN, Henry signed with Alabama in Sept. 2012 and was the top running back in his recruiting class and the ninth overall. A five-star recruit from Yulee, Fla., he turned down offers from Florida, Florida State and 13 other top football programs to accept Alabama's offer.

Mike Organ, a reporter for the Tennessean, asked Saban recently about White's allegation, which would have occurred before his tenure. When Alabama was recruiting White, Saban was the head football coach at LSU.

"I didn't even know it happened so I can't comment on it," Saban said. "Is that the best thing we can talk about? Kiss my ass."

Henry quickly saw the NCAA violation accusations fill up his Twitter mentions, most notably from a University of Tennessee alum and a Temple University fan, and he responded by implying his family bought the car.

Mike Shula was the coach at Alabama when White has being recruited and Sparky Woods, a running back coach at the time, told TideSports.com the team was not all too interested. Woods said they did not pursue White because he was not willing to play a position other than quarterback.

"I didn't recruit Pat, but I remember he wanted to be a quarterback," he said. "I remember a discussion that we weren't going to recruit him as a quarterback. That was kind of a closed book on him pretty early because he wanted to be a quarterback."

Woods also said he does not remember making an official visit to White, nor did the quarterback come to Tuscaloosa. His Rivals.com recruit profile also says Alabama never even made an offer to White, but West Virginia, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt did.
