Five students from the same high school were all accepted into M.I.T. Not only that, they're all good friends, the Huffington Post reported.

Classmates GiMin Choi, Raymundo Cano, Andrew Koh, Kevin Escobar Rodriguez, and William Lopez-Cordero all got into the prestigious Boston school. All will attend. To avoid surrounding themselves in something too close to a bubble, they'll try to avoid rooming together, though they would like to at least live in the same building.

"We will try to get into the same dorm and like, stay away from rooming together, but still stay on the same floor, so we can hang out," Rodriguez told NBC.

The "MIT 5" as they're being called, are among 3,500 students at Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles. Despite a name that would indicate otherwise, the school isn't strictly a tech school. Of course, it's strong in that area. Eleven students have been accepted to MIT in the last three years.

"I am in awe of our MIT 5," Ari Bennett, principal of Polytechnic High School said in statement. "Each one represents the caliber and high standards of our Math/Science Magnet at Poly. Congratulations to these wizards of technology who will change the world one atom at a time."

"To be honest with you, I cried," said Choi, who's interested in pursuing environmental engineering or computer science. "The fact that all of us got it in, it's just more happiness to share"
