NCAA Bracket Update: Elite Eight Preview and Predictions, Will the Final Four Be Void of all One-Seeds?
ByThe Sweet 16 had every bit of madness any college basketball fan would want and the Elite Eight promises to keep the exciting weekend going.
UConn has continued its unexpected late run with a surprise performance from DeAndre Daniels and Kentucky sent home a national title favorite in Louisville. Now, other Final Four favorites like Michigan State and Florida will have to be wary.

Dayton (11) vs. Florida (1), 6:09 p.m.
Dayton's run to the Elite Eight has been improbable, although that may be an understatement. The Flyers have won three more games than anyone thought they would, starting with their upset of Ohio State (6) on the first day of the NCAA Tournament, then continuing with wins over Syracuse (3) and Stanford (10). For a team that makes an annual trip to the tournament, Florida has remained hungry and do not want to lose in the Elite Eight a fourth straight year.
Dayton will make it interesting, but Florida will win in the end.
Wisconsin (2) vs. Arizona (1), 8:49 p.m.
Wisconsin reasserted itself as one of the tournament's top teams by beating Baylor 69-52 and squashing some popular upset picks (it looked good for me anyway). They will now meet Arizona, a team that has put in its time rebuilding and is ready to reap the rewards. They once spent eight weeks ranked first in the nation, but lost a key team member in Brandon Ashley. Unfortunately for Wisconsin, Arizona has seemingly found its identity without their star forward.
Arizona will pull away late and win the game with timely stops on defense.
Sunday, March 30
UConn (7) vs. Michigan State (4), 2:02 p.m.
UConn took control of their game against Iowa State early and survived a late rally from the Cyclones. They took a 10-point lead into halftime and held on to win 81-76 despite being outscored in the second half. Most surprisingly, they were not led by Shabazz Napier, but by forward DeAndre Daniels, who dropped 27 points and brought down 10 rebounds. Michigan State may be a popular title game choice, but UConn has always loved playing in Madison Square Garden. Still, will Tom Izzo and the Spartans be too much for the Huskies to handle?
Michigan State will win in an overtime thriller.
Kentucky (8) vs. Michigan (2), 5:05 p.m.
Louisville had a small lead at halftime over Kentucky, but the Wildcats rallied and won the second half to defeat the Cardinals 74-69. Now, Kentucky should feel relieved they got Rick Pitino and company out of the way, but Michigan is awaiting them. Michigan only escaped an upset by beating Tennessee (11) by two points.
Michigan will not escape another upset, Kentucky will hit its stride and win convincingly.
