Two teenagers were arrested by Delaware State University police following a shooting incident earlier this month outside a student housing complex.

The incident occurred just after 10:3 p.m. on Sept. 7 near the University Courtyard apartments when officers responded to reports of gunfire, according to NBC News.

Upon arrival, they found several vehicles and buildings had been struck with bullets, though no injuries were reported.

Authorities identified the suspects as Tyrone Harrell, 18, a Delaware State University student who has since been expelled, and an unidentified 15-year-old boy with no ties to the school.

Harrell was taken into custody on Sept. 9, and he is facing charges related to reckless engagement, possessing a firearm, and other offenses, the outlet said.

According to ABC 6, the 15-year-old was arrested on Sept. 20 and found a polymer 80 .40 caliber handgun with a loaded 30-round magazine in his possession.
