Three fraternities at Washington State University are being investigated over allegations of misconduct, hazing and reckless endangerment.

According to WSU's Student Organization Policy Violation Report, Tau Kappa Epsilon is facing the most serious allegations. The fraternity is being investigated for violations that occurred between Aug. 18 and Aug. 30, which include hazing, alcohol-related misconduct, reckless endangerment, harassment and breaching university policies. As a result, all chapter activities have been suspended until the investigation is concluded.

Sigma Chi is also under investigation for an Aug. 25 incident involving allegations of physical harm or direct threats, as well as reckless endangerment. Sigma Phi Epsilon was cited for similar incidents, in addition to an allegation of theft or property damage.

Pending the investigation, Sigma Chi is prohibited from hosting events where alcohol is present, while Sigma Phi Epsilon cannot host any social events.

According to the school's violation report, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Chi were reprimanded in April and last September, respectively, for providing alcohol to minors.
