Nintendo announced last week the all-in-one 16-bit games, SNES classic mini. However, the Japanese tech company's highly anticipated console sold out within minutes at major retailers.

The SNES classic mini edition gaming console was up for grabs at the official UK Nintendo Store, ShopTo, Game and Amazon. Game enthusiasts will find a hard time to pre-order the gaming console at these stores as the gaming console will not be available in minutes. Now, the Super Nintendo Mini pre-orders have all sold out on their websites, Express reported.

Nonetheless, if a person had placed a SNES Mini pre-order from Amazon UK, that person will need to check his/her e-mail inbox. The e-commerce company sent out e-mails to customers who purchased several SNES classic mini edition. Amazon UK notified those customers that their order has been limited to just one unit. The move seems to be an attempt to allow more game enthusiasts to purchase the gaming system, and to stop individuals who buy the gaming device and then sell it at hugely inflated prices, Independent reported.

Meanwhile, the desperate SNES classic mini enthusiasts are expecting stores, such as Gameseek, Currys as well as Tesco Direct, to roll out the pre-orders of the device in the U.K. However, these retailers didn't pitch in the pre-orders of Nintendo's gaming system, but it seems that the retailer would consider this hottest demand soon. Nevertheless, the SNES classic mini pre-orders are now only available to purchase from German website Media Markt, which is considered as the largest consumer electronics retailer in Europe.

In spite of that, the SNES classic mini gaming system will be available at $79.99, and comes loaded with 21 video games including "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" and the upcoming "Star Fox 2." Nintendo will officially release the gaming console on Sept. 29.
