Rockstar Games has reportedly confirmed that they are developing GTA's sixth installment, dubbed as the "GTA 6" or "Grand Theft Auto VI." The studio is yet to announce on when the sequel will be making its debut. Nonetheless, the upcoming GTA sequel is said to be tailor-made for Microsoft's Xbox One X console.

Reports are claiming that Rockstar Games will not fine tune the upcoming installment for Sony's PS5, as it won't be a sound business decision for the video game company. However, the "GTA 6" is said to be tailor-made for Microsoft's powerful gaming console, Xbox One X, NSEA Voice reported.

Reports are mounting up on the internet claiming that although it may take at least three more years before "Grand Theft Auto VI" fires up the gaming world, the video game company will release the "GTA 6" in time for PlayStation 5's arrival. This is not the first time for GTA's sixth installment to be anticipated to arrive alongside the next-gen gaming systems. While earlier rumors suggest that the upcoming game sequel is being developed for both the PS5 and the Xbox One X, recent reports are claiming that the "GTA 6" will be a PlayStation exclusive.

As the upcoming "GTA 6" is said to be already in the development stage, no one outside the studio can tell whether the sequel will really be a PS5 exclusive and will roll out in 2020. Nonetheless, the forthcoming action-adventure video game is said to have a '70s settings and utilizes London as the game's backdrop.

That being the case, Rockstar North Executive Leslie Benzies, made it known that "GTA 6" players can hit one city to the next and then return to their beloved city. In spite of that, the game studio is yet to decide on the final location for the "GTA 6" video game, Blorge reported.
