Apple Inc. is reportedly adding the iPad Pro 2 10.5 inch variant to its lineup of tablets this year. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the iPad Pro 2 10.5 inch model along with a touchscreen Siri speaker will be announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event. Suppliers are gearing up for mass producing the tablet in early June.

According to new reports, the Cupertino-based tech titan is expected to launch the iPad Pro 2 10.5 inch variant at the WWDC 2017 event, which transpires in San Jose, California from June 5 to June 9. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that there's a possibility that the device might be announced at the tech giant's June 5 keynote, as suppliers are gearing up for mass producing the iPad Pro 2 10.5 inch variant in early June, Apple Insider reported.

Kuo has been predicting that the tech company will release a 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2, new iPad Pro 10.5-inch and a low-cost 9.7 variant in 2017. Kuo anticipated that a reveal at the upcoming event is likely, for the reason of a production ramp up at the end of this quarter. Kuo also believed that there is a 50 percent chance that the tech giant will launch its Siri Speaker at this year's conference, The Verge reported.

Nonetheless, Apple has been silent about the upcoming iPad Pro 2. But, new reports are indicating many new features for the tablet. Wherein, the iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch variant might be the world's first tablet to have an edge-to-edge display.

Furthermore, as Apple is expected to reveal the latest iOS at the upcoming WWDC event, the iPad Pro 2 10.5-inch model is expected to come loaded with the operating system out-of-the-box. Also, the iPad Pro 2 is anticipated to have a 12MP camera with features such as Live Photos and 4K video recording.
