"I just feel very fortunate to be able to coach at Villanova. Whoever coaches at Villanova is going to get a lot of wins," Villanova head coach Jay Wright said of his most recent win, the 400th of his career "Some of it makes me feel old. I just think about the next game. It's humbling when people talk about it."

Wright's second statement may not be true. Epic 1985 championship aside, the Wildcats don't have an extraordinary basketball history. A good portion of their success during his tenure can be attributed to his coaching and the attitude he seems to instill in every one of his teams. Plus, he's been a capable recruiter, one who could attract top prospects even during his Hofstra days (such as future pros like Speedy Claxton and Norman Richardson).

The Wildcats will be facing a Depaul (10-14, 2-9) team (tonight 7:00 pm EST on FS1) that hasn't been that close in any of its previous six straight losses. Villanova won their first matchup in Philadelphia by 26 points.

Since getting blown out at home by Creighton, the Wildcats have won five straight, three in a row on the road against Marquette, Georgetown, and Temple -- all teams with better traditions than players this year, but still respectable road wins. Individually, 'Nova's benefited from the resurgence of senior James Bell, who's matched his hot early season start. He's now the team's leading scorer at 16 ppg. If he's hot on his threes tonight, he'll get his percentage over 40 percent for the year.

Villanova's favored by 14 points tonight. I'm not so confident they'll get it, but they've typically rewarded their betters this year.
