EA DICE Announces Exciting 'Battlefield 1' News, Confirms Next Big Update on June And Introduces Another Night Map [VIDEO]
ByWhen EA DICE first introduced first-person shooter game "Battlefield 1," all-new maps only had the American and British soldiers as playable game characters. But this week, things are about to change, players will finally get their first look at the Russian DLC this coming June. Developer EA DICE made the big announcement his week.
Historians recognized the huge effort and contribution made by the French and Russians during the First World War and Second World War. And this is the whole reason why EA DICE has decided to include the French armies in their popular first-person shooter game "Battlefield 1," the VG247 reported.
The French troops have been added to the shooter game through the previously released Battlefield DLC expansion "They Shall Not Pass." And this June, the Russians army will be added too, in the upcoming DLC expansion pack "In the Name of the Tsar."
According to EA DICE, the battle-hardened Russian armies are coming to "Battlefield-new maps set on the Eastern Front of Europe, promising snow-covered maps and brutal environment. The game's second DLC expansion, "In The Name of the Tsar," will also include new weapons, new tactics, and vehicles.
EA DICE's next big event EA Play 2017 will kick off June 10 at 12 p.m. Pacific Time and 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Additionally, a live streaming is also being planned for those "Battlefield 1" fans who are unable to attend.
In addition to the Russian army DLC releases in June, two more "Battlefield 1" DLC expansions are also being planned for this year. These are the "Turning Tides" and "Apocalypse" DLC expansions. Fans are already speculating that the Italians will finally be added in this next major update. But some are pointing to Japan, while others the Balkan countries, which include Serbia, Yugoslavia, Romania, and more.
Meanwhile, EA DICE this week announced another big news for "Battlefield 1." The game is about to receive a wave of updates, dubbed the "Summer of Battlefield." This "summer of Battlefield 1" news is said to bring new maps and new weapon on board.
The first map to be included, Prise de Tahure, is set after the historical invasion of the Western Front during the First World War. The Prise de Tahure will feature a mixture of trench warfare leading up to the villages, players can expect intense and brutal battle here.
Similar to Amiens, one of the game's best maps, the Prise de Tahure map will be the first map to be announced in the 'Summer of Battlefield" news. The Prise de Tahure map will be released shortly for PC players via the Community Test Environment (CTE), however, it will be late on console gamers, the SegmentNext reported.
As for the previously reported Nivelle Nights map, this much-talked night-only map will finally schedule for big release next month. This will be released for the "Battlefield 1" premium pass owners. Unfortunately, there still no confirmation as to whether this "Battlefield 1" night map will also be released for everyone.
